About Psytech Ltd

The founding Directors are Alan Kitching and Colin Valsler. They have both trained as hardware and software engineers and possess a thorough understanding of computers and information technology. The company now specialises in the use of this technology, particularly in the implementation of psychometric testing and personnel selection.

Founded in 1989, Psytech Ltd has a significant amount of experience gained from work on flight/task simulation equipment and in the development of psychometric measurement systems. In this field the principle directors both made major contributions to the design and development of the Aircrew Aptitude Testing System used by the Royal Air Force. At the time, this system was one of the first, large scale, computer based testing systems in the world.

We have built upon the skills and expertise of the founders and are very well placed to offer a wide range of technical and computing services to occupational psychologists, personnel managers and recruitment consultants.
